Tropic of Despair by E A Guest Chapters 1-7

An informal reading of the second Julius Corbin dark adventure novel. In this volume, young Scotsman Roderick Burns narrates an adventure he takes in 1881 to find the fate of his long lost father.
In these first seven chapters, we are introduced to the melancholy Roderick as he becomes lord of his own estate and is inspired to grand adventure by a lovely girl. Off he goes to Holland with his father's ancient parchment to seek the assistance of maverick archeologist David Hathaway.
TROPIC OF DESPAIR was published by Lost Continent Library as the follow-up to SECRET OF THE AMAZON QUEEN.
This material is for mature audiences.
